In the Fog

            We live in a fog of thoughts and emotions, walking through life mesmerized by the continuous stream of mental chatter, the ongoing inner commentary and reactions. Instead of being inside this fog, can we find a way to live so that the fog is inside of us? Can we live in the contextual consciousness where we see the fog calling to us, without succumbing to its siren sound? 

            For this week notice the inner fog. Notice times when you have been lost in it. Bring yourself strongly into presence, so that you can see the mental fog without being the mental fog.
